Listing Lens is operated by UPD8 Group Pty Ltd (ABN pending), an Australian company.

What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Account information — your name and email address, via Apple, Google, or email sign-in through Clerk.
• Listing data you provide — URLs, screenshots, pasted text, or photos submitted for analysis.
• Report history — summaries of reports stored in your account.
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
• Usage data — report counts for plan limit tracking.

What We Don't Collect

• We don't use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
• We don't build advertising profiles.
• We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data.
• We don't track your browsing outside Listing Lens.

How We Use Your Data

• Generate buyer intelligence reports from the listings you submit.
• Maintain your account, report history, and usage tracking.
• Process payments via Stripe.
• Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets) — never marketing unless you opt in.
• Improve our service (aggregated, anonymised patterns only).

AI Processing

Listing Lens uses Anthropic's Claude API to analyse listings. Listing content is sent to the API for analysis. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models. We do not send your personal information (name, email) to the AI — only the listing content.

Data Retention

Your account data and reports are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data within 30 days.

Your Rights

Under Australian Privacy law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Security

We use HTTPS encryption, secure authentication via Clerk, PCI-compliant payments via Stripe, and row-level security in our database. We do not store passwords.

Changes

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be notified via email or site notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
